God Accomplishes Eternal Glory for Us through Our Brief Afflictions ㅡ

 “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

 (2 Corinthians 4:17~18)

Jesus is our friend.

All heaven is interested in our welfare, and our anxiety and fear grieve the Holy Spirit of God.

No place should be given to that distrust of God which leads us to make a preparation against future want the chief pursuit of life, as though our happiness consisted in these earthly things.

Cast your care upon God and remain calm and cheerful.

we want a living faith that holds fast the promises of God no matter how dark the prospect.

We are not to look at the things which are seen, and judge from the world’s standpoint, and be ruled by the world’s principles, but we are to look at the things which are unseen, eternal.
